  1. Found the bad memory stick and pulled it (i had 64, but can run on 48 just fine for now). So i just left it out and have a replacement on order. I ran a full memtest on the 3 and had 4 passes with no errors. Then I tried driver verifier again and again got bluescreen before load (but it seemed later this time, not sure if possible or true). The error code was DRIVER_IRQL_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I had to do a system restore again. I tried windows update again and got the same failed install, here is the message: 2018-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4089848) - Error 0x800f081f attached in the minidump Minidump.zip
  2. Ok, sorry just saw your reply, I will start that now. Sorry for the post spam, thank you very much for your help.
  3. I am still working through stuff, but this is what I have so far: -updated bios from 1.0.4 to version 1.0.15 (latest) -Searched for windows updates and found one, but it failed to install (x3) error was (0X800f081f) -Uninstalled TacticalMonsters.exe (dont need it) -Tried to run Driver Verifier (set everything up as specified), but my system would not make it past boot without BSOD and so I had to do a system restore. -Downloaded and ran memtest86 (results are attached) *it failed and aborted prematurely on the first run through due to "too many errors"* I am working on setting up ubcd on a usb drive (but am still zeroing it from memtest because i only have a 64gb drive lol) *I will continue working through the list of hardware diagnostics --continued -ran crystal mark (no failures, said all was good) -ran furmark (15 minutes) stabilized at 66 deg C. -Attempted to run windows safety scanner, (full scan) got about half way through and then BSOD (Kernel_Security_Check_Failure). There were not infected files seen prior to the crash. I can run again if nec. -Ran prime95 for an hour, will run overnight tonight when I finish work. (i did not see any errors and no crashes occured) -Ran video memmory test and it failed log is attached. BSODs have been happening a lot today (I think that is the point of a lot of this) here are the 3 stop codes that i have seen: -MEMORY_MANAGEMENT -QUOTA_UNDERFLOW -KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE videoMemTest.zip

  5. My computer crashes about once per day and it is a new computer... Only weird thing that I can think of is that I am running a giant TV as a monitor, tbh if that is the issue, I can just get reasonable monitors instead. New Dell xPS 8920 Desktop (link to full description idk if helpfull) swapped default graphics for EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SC As I am new to this forum I am not sure how to tag propperly, so please let me know if I need to learn and update the Tagging for this post to be seen by the right people.
