  1. This is true, but the takeaway here might be that we are better off without AV at all, given the number of times different AV vendors have screwed up, especially if you take 'we' to mean the more tech-savvy PC users out there.
  2. Crashed my PC once but I've disabled the service now. Good thing I'm only using it on one personal PC - if this has been the work AV then I dread to think of the mess.
