Thanks for sharing the link vbarytskyy - I've removed 3.3 and reinstalled 3.2 - all is working fine again now. Thanks for your suggestion achzone - I did try rebooting and also uninstalling/reinstalling 3.3 several times without success.

I'm just getting same issue with Windows 7. Had MB for years, never any issues but since installing latest version yesterday I've had a "blue screen" event (first time in 3 years on this laptop) and MB not opening. Also tried reinstalling it, made no difference. I'd be interested to know if there was any way to roll back to the old version for now?
