  1. Thank for the further suggestions Porthos. I have now added the IGDump file to the Exclusions list on Kaspersky Total Security & also turned off Fast Startup. (That was probably set 'On' by default on installing Windows 10). I have also manually cleared out all the IGDump files. I'll now watch this folder from time-to-time to make sure they are being cleared out automatically. I'll let you know how it goes.
  2. Yes; I use Kaspersky Total Security on my PCs. If that means I have to delete the files manually, I'll do that. Kaspersky is a great AV product with excellent support - I would be without it! I've used it for more that 10 years now.
  3. Thanks for the quick reply Porthos. I'm not aware that I have had more than my 'usual' detections of late. I'll have to keep an 'eye' on the IG Dump folder to see if it grows in size. Is there a function in Malwarebytes that cleans it out or should I delete some old dumps when it gets too big?
  4. I have noticed recently that many new files - (eg. edapafzuowkzgpbptinaqduolatnrcwk.exe - going back about six weeks) in my AppData/LocalLow/IGDump folder that have been generated by Malwarebytes and which are now starting to clog up my PC! Can these be safely deleted or is Malwarebytes building up a database to use now & in the future? IGDump now has 235 folders and 390 files. Any advice on 'cleaning up' unnecessary files & folders created by Malwarebytes would be appreciated. Thanks.
  5. Many thanks for the quick reply Porthos. I followed your 'fix' instructions, downloaded / installed / ran the clean-up program followed by the re-installation of Malwarebytes 3. Everything is now working as it should! Thanks Tallboyrip
  6. I run Malwarebytes Pemium 3.3.2 alongside Kaspersky Total Security on my 64-bit Windows 10 desktop. I'm now getting frequent pop-up messages telling me that real-time web protection is not running. If I open up the Malwarebytes Settings screen and try to move the Web Protection slider to On, I get a continuous Starting.... message - but it never actually starts. I also run IObit Malware Fighter & WinZip Malware Protector (which performs really in-depth malware searches if run as opposed to background checking). Is one of these packages stopping Malwarebytes Web Protection from running or is there something in Malwarebytes not working correctly? Would re-installation of Malwarebytes fix the problem? Suggestions please! Thanks.
