  1. Ahhh gotcha! So I ran a scan on Malwarebytes before and I think I got rid of it. Also the "ProgramData" folder was hidden. Figured out how to unhide it and verified that specific google file was removed. Looks like that's the end of that. Thanks again for the help!
  2. I'm having trouble understanding. Do you want me to delete chrome from C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\Chrome.exe ? Or where is this fake chrome entry as "No action by User" located? Sorry for the stupid question. Thanks
  3. Hi Kevin, I did as was told but now I realized my google chrome cast wont work at all. Not sure if this is related to what was in the fixlist.txt but I figured i'd ask. Thanks

  5. Hi Everyone, first off, I like what this site has to offer and want to thank you guys for all your help. I somehow got this malware and now my google chrome crashes even after I uninstalled and reinstalled. I went into the registry and also removed the default homepage just because I couldn't do it through google. Please see attached for both files ran through the Farbar Recovery Tool FRST.txt Addition.txt
