I am running Windows 7 on a Dell laptop. I installed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware premium in September last year and have had no problem up to now. Recently my FB page was hacked so I installed Avira free version. In the last week a box keeps popping up saying "a new version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is ready to be installed. Install now?" I installed it the first time and it just kept popping up every 2 mintues so I uninstalled Malwarebytes, reinstalled it, ran rKill (iExplore64), ADW cleaner, sc cleaner and PSI setup. This morning Luke Skywalker 'blessed' me with a visit together with the Malwarebytes new version message. I have run the reinstalled Malwarebytes scan and there is no mention of an update. Please help!!
