It should be noted that I once used Avast Antivirus on this computer but when they charged me multiple times for the same service, I cancelled it and it was supposed to be removed from my computer.

A message popped up when I double clicked on the FRST on the desktop. A copy of that message is attached. I then completed the rest of the steps and the MB Check zip should also be attached FRSTerrormessage.docx mb-check-results.zip

It says it is a threat scan. How would I tell it is a rootkit scan? It has been on Temp Log for over 52 hours. Now showing over 650,000 items scanned.

I just downloaded Malwarebytes 3 Premium and started the scan that was the first thing to pop up once the download was complete. That was 3 days ago and the scan is still in progress - over 77 hours. So far it is showing no threats. Do I just let it continue to run?
