I have run MalWareBytes on my personal computer and a friends infected computer (in safe mode) without any problems..... I wanted to recommend this program to other friends and relatives, but I am unsure if some of the "infected" items it finds could be vital to their operating system. What I want to know is If the found incidences are deleted, is their a risk their operating system might be compromised or not boot up to their desktop. Is MalWareBytes a "run at your on risk program" or can housewives run it and then delete whatever it finds? I do not want to recommend a program that will cause me to look like a nerd instead of a geek.... LOL, Thanks, Mike
