Thank you for your response. I am using the paid version of both malwarebytes and malwarebytes anti-exploit. I was running the Microsoft EMET tool, but I was told that the EMET tool with the malwarebytes anti-exploit do not work together in some cases. So, I uninstalled the EMET tool and everything is fine for now. Thanks.

I just installed MBAE and I am unable to open any Word documents unless I turn the program off. The "Remove Shield" is not highlighted so I am unable to select any locked files to exclude.
