  1. Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate it. Extenuating circumstances required a safe mode scan. I realize this is not optimal, but was necessary in this rare scenario. I was just unsure as to whether or not Malwarebytes would kick off its pre-Windows process if I restarted once again into safe mode rather than restarting and letting Windows load normally.
  2. Hi guys-- Easy question here, I'm sure... But I've never known the answer to it. If I run Malwarebytes in safe mode, and Malwarebytes finishes and requires a restart, do I need to restart INTO safe mode? Or will restarting normally work? Or both? I guess I'm just wondering, do you need to boot into the same environment that you RAN Malwarebytes in to complete the removal? Thanks!
  3. Thank you, Exile! I've gotten that far as I do have Windows 7; it's usually coming from Skype or Firefox. I'm just baffled as to what could continually be outgoing from either of those two that's so malicious.
  4. Hi guys -- Just curious as to how I can get more information on the outgoing connection blocking that MalwareBytes PRO is doing. It's nearly ALWAYS the same address, and I'd like to look into this more. Thanks for the suggestions!
  5. Thank you so much, sir! Am I missing something, though? I swear that when I downloaded the setup file on my own machine a few weeks ago, it was only like a 400K file, and the setup file merely ran a downloader to download the actual install file and install Malwarebytes. Did this change, or am I just losing it? Thanks again though, I really appreciate the quick response.
  6. Hello guys... First post, and I already feel foolish asking this. I keep Malwarebytes on a thumb drive with a couple other tools. This is useless, however, if the computer that is infected does not have an internet connection. How would I go about installing the actual program to a computer with no internet? I'm familiar with updating the definitions by simply downloading and overwriting the definitions file, but I'm a bit confused as to how I can install this, since the installer is merely a downloader. I appreciate the help!
