Hey TwinHeadedEagle, I've done as suggested. Have attached the scan log text file. Also, the internet connection is working now and MBAM quarantined 22 items during the scanScan log.txt What should I do next? Is the system free from infection?

Hey Moderators & Fellow Community members, Would love your help on this! I think my laptop is infected with malware. I had MBAM earlier but had un-installed it a few days ago. When i'm trying to install MBAM now, i get an error message "Runtime Error (at 97:137) Could not call proc" and the setup terminates. Also, my wifi/lan is not working, I can connect to the WiFi but I get a "No internet access" message. That's why i'm unable to install any Antivirus which needs online activation. Also, all my Word and Excel documents have become corrupt. Would really really appreciate any advice on this matter. Thank you in anticipation! Regards, Ashray
