I Thank you for your suggestion and understand what you are saying but that is a waste of time. The domain is in the allow list it should allow all sub domain.

I mean just think that you make a folder with a bunch of sub folders that also have sub folders then want to delete the root folder and all the sub folders but the progam will not let you unless you add each sub folder to the delete command.

What is this in the screen grab?

Why can't I turn it off?

And whilst we're at it, what is this other address you have my machine dialing home to

I posted a question like this a LONG time ago before the EU data protection laws the post disappear.

That. Right there. Is a red flag.

If I have turned it off, it's off. Period.

That is personal data, it can be parsed, along with data recovered from other badly behaving apps and the likes of spying by Chrome etc to recover a great deal about my activities.
And, that first line "regardless of the setting of the app" is a criminal offence under EU data protection laws.

Neither Malwarebytes or anybody else gets to override our choices regarding privacy or the usage of our data.

Hope this gets a solid answer and resolution not just a smoke screen!

  3. Hello I have Malwarebytes Premium 4.5.2.7 on Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2, OS build 22621.1702, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22641.1000.0

Real-Time protection is on, Web Protection is on, Malware Protection is on, Ransomware Protection is on, & Exploit Protection is on *1

In Setting, General, Tamper protection is on Everything checked *2

Under Settings, Security, Windows startup I have Launch Malwarebytes in the background on, Delay Real-Time Protection when Malwarebytes starts off, Enable self-protection mode on, Enable self-protection module early start on *3

Every time I restart or shutdown then turn up the PC I get a popup message saying Malwarebytes Real-Time Protection is off *4 I click the Turn on button

Enter my password when prompted *5

Verify Real-Time protection is on *6

    Reboot! Start all over.

How can I stop this Cycle?

  4. Just wondering what is the point of an Allow List if Malwarebytes does not adhere to it?

I have the following in my Allow List WITH Exclude from all detections checked

    Folders

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim

    File

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim\valheim.exe

Why is Malwarebytes blocking a lot of IPs when I have it set to Excluded from ALL detections? Included in this HUGH list of blocked addresses are 2 of my friends and my own IP.

I love Malwarebytes, but this is really pissing me off.

  5. I am a lifetime member it seems that since Malwarebytes Anti-Malware went subscription based, I have had ads at the bottom of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware window.

How can I remove these ads?

I paid for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to scan for and remove Malware NOT to see ads about any other products you have. If I wanted to see ads I would have stayed with the free version.
