  1. fter having my HP Desktop computer worked on remotely by IN Technologies, it was determined that I would need to reload Windows back onto the computer. To do this they first downloaded all my data onto my own Seagate external hard drive. After reloading a new windows program onto the computer and then moving my old data (mostly photos and word documents) back onto the desktop it was now all encrypted with Cryptowall. Everything on my external hard drive is now also encrypted. After going to the link it appears I now have a ransomware virus. Please see attached screen shots detailing how I can get my data back (at a cost of $500 in BIT Coins) Any recommendations or am I screwed? Gus
