  1. @David, of course, I'm aware that * .js or * .doc up to * .bat are on user level Trojan Downloader. I'm sorry. @AdvancedSetup Thank you for your reference. You are certainly right with your statement. The link I have unfortunately no access authorization: You are not authorized to view this content. Maybe you've a screenshot for post here.
  2. Seems to be a Java Script. Should MalwareBytes 3 AntiRansom not yet report an alert? I know MBAM itself does not recognize JS. Nevertheless ... most of the Ransomware is hidden in JS, PDF, DOCx, XLSx. Will this change in the future?
  3. David, thankyou for the explanation. It also illuminates this "test".
  4. Just a short question. Why is MalwareBytes so badly in this test(?): PDF-File from MRG Effitas 360 Assessment & Certification Q3 2016 https://www.mrg-effitas.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/MRG-Effitas-360-Assessment-Q3-2016.pdf Is this test at all a test? Or even nonsense? Or is the selection of the samples just bullshit?
  5. https://www.aldeid.com/wiki/OfficeMalScanner ZIP-File-Password: reconstructer.org Trojan.Agent, \Desktop\OfficeMalScanner\MalHost-Setup.exe, , [107c7a0a534666d053a1a0dbdf229769], OfficeMalScanner.zip
  6. Addendum: The detection occurs only when the file is on the desktop. Not in a subdirectory.
  7. Addendum: Operating system: Windows 10 pro. No other antivirus program active. Also not Defender. MalwareBytes purchase version.
  8. Keep on the desktop a TXT file with the following name: Windows 10_ Welche Antivirus-Lösung soll ich einsetzen_ _ Borns IT- und Windows-Blog.txt Malwarebytes shows the following result: Rogue.WindowsAntiVirus, C:\Users\kraat\Desktop\Windows 10_ Welche Antivirus-Lösung soll ich einsetzen_ _ Borns IT- und Windows-Blog (2).txt, , [fcd55dd9693000369ed7a45b07fb8d73], The file extension is not important. It's a link to this page: http://www.borncity.com/blog/2015/09/05/windows-10-welche-antivirus-lsung-soll-ich-einsetzen Saved as * .url on my desktop. So it struck me. FALSE POSITIVE.rar
  9. If I use MBAM cleaner (MBAM is installed and activate). The license counter at uninstalling mbam reset, or added as a further activated license? And how is it with a normal uninstall over Windows control panel. Or should I disable the license in mbam-GUI before uninstalling an reinstalling? Sorry if this question are already provided.
  10. Almost no longer funny. Since the publication of Windows 10 pro, Windows runs absolutely flawlessly. But a Clean Install. Now, weeks later, without Defender, I install Malwarebytes and what I see after a Fast-Boot on my taskbar? Malwarebytes. Ouch.
  11. control panel, services, then: set both MalwareBytes services start delayed. After this configuration, I don't see MalwareByte in the taskbar. MalwareBytes GUI settings: start 15 seconds delay.
  12. Looking for administrators: please everyone do create its own thread. Also when it comes to the same topic. Well, then. When will there be a fix. Clean install Restart without MBam in taskbar Fastboot with MBam in taskbar. In power-saving option, shutdown reboot. MBam will remain in the system tray. It is a mistake in the current version. Even if I use only a LifeTime license, I would like to hear something. And no message: thread is closed due to piracy. I have never used such a thing. Never means never!Addition.txtCheckResults.txtFRST.txt I don't know what want to recognize her in the text files. I wish me: xou can reproduce the problem. Even if it's cosmetic, something sucks.
  13. It's no use. The registry, I can pray almost by heart. Also the rest of my system. I think, the programmer should go on troubleshooting. Keywords: Windows Fast-Boot.
  14. Is there new evidence? The problem exists -after clean install- under Windows 10.
  15. Edit: I'm watching: another user has the same problem. Sorry, I have not mentioned the Windows 8.1 pro x64 - system start (hybrid). https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/169962-malwarebytes-open-when-pc-starts/
  16. Hello , my Sreenshot is made, mouse over the taskbar-Malwarebyte's icon. When I click after 20 seconds the taskbar icon, dashboard can be seen. Total: I have the same problem as @bobmitch. I've used the MalwareByte-cleaner (mbam-clean), as I saw the problem the first time. Windows 8.1 x64 No other AV exist. The previous 2.16 (?) version worked fine.
