  1. Did another restart for Windows Updates and Real-Time Protection came back on line. Still no recurrence of audio ads. Consider both items closed for now.
  2. Well, I haven't had a recurrance of the audio ad thing since the update to Firefox yesterday afternoon and before that it was pretty much constant. I'll do the reinstall per your best practices and head on back to the other topic if things don't work out..
  3. Nope. The boxes are checked under Advanced Settings and the Dashboard still says No Protection. How about if I just try uninstalling and and reinstalling the program?
  4. I left a note on that topic that the problem seems to have gone away with an update to Firefox. Was I supposed to guess that I could post an urelated problem under Malware removal?
  5. Firefox went to 37.0.2 shortly after I posted and I haven't heard anything today. I'll come back if that changes. Thanks.
  6. Malwarebyte requested a reboot after an update and real-time protection went off when the PC restarted. I went to advanced settings and re-checked the boxes for real-time and even after rebebooting the dashboard still shows real-time protection not enabled. I have the Premium edition.
  7. Hi- I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and seem to have the same problem described here except I'm using Firefox.... https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/167347-audio-ads-and-iexploreexe/ Occasionally I get a complete ad lasting a few seconds but usually just little pieces of sound one syllable long. I've run a scan with Malwarebyte Anit-Malware Premium with no results.
