I can boot without any issues. But cannot access any website- even in safe mode with networking. Whatever websote I type in to browser browser keeps defaulting to some garbled text in front of the website i type and it does not load. I dont know what to do, it is terrible. I was downloading an opensource map for my GPS, at least thats what I thought.

Hello I cannot access Internet through my browser- which is part of the problem. When I type any site in my Firefox, it automatically gets routed to some garbled text which does not load. How can I downoad tools you are referring to above? thank you Sam

Looks like I downloaded something that had virus or malware with it. Now my anti virus keep showing alerts and keep cleaning threats. But now my internet stopped working. Laptop shows connectivity but Mozilla doesnt work- any website I type, it automatically routes to some random garble of sites in one link and eventually says website not found. Can someone here help? since I cannot access any site through the browser even in safe mode- I am typing this note from my tablet. I cannot download anything on my laptop. Please help. Sam
