  1. Hi Adam, Update: I have not seen the Outbound IP blocks by MBAM in the last two days. Mcafee and Malwarebytes still do not detect anything abnormal. Protection logs appear clean. Because I have not seen the Outbound IP blocks by MBAM I have not run CHKDSK and I have not enabled Windows Defender. I was hesitant to run CHKDSK after reading the Windows Seven Forum article because it specifically warns against running CHKDSK when you have a SSD. I will monitor for a couple more days and update you at that time.
  2. Hi Adam, No new network card installed. I have not updated any network drivers that I know of. I will run CHKDSK and Install Windows Defender (after uninstalling McAfee) shortly.
  3. Hi Adam, See attached files. Note: I will have limited access to the troublesome computer for the next couple of days. Please do not close down this thread because of no activity. I am very much interested in continuing to work with you to solve this challenge. Eric
  4. Correct. Outbound IP blocks by MBAM. I have not noted anything else out of the ordinary with one exception. In Internet Explorer 11 I did not that I can no longer sort my favourites list by drag and drop. In addition most of the company icons on bookmark favourites have changed to the standard IE icon. Eric
  5. Hi Adam, I have run FRST64.exe and listparts64.exe and the files are attached. The modem & router seem to be working and other devices will connect wirelessly. Have a look the files and advise. I appreciate the assistance.
  6. Adam, Further to my previous post I have now attached a Malwarebytes Protection Log showing the new entries. Note the Domain name changed and the Port changes
  7. Hi Adam, RogueKiller will not run even after renaming file. Each time I attempted to run RogueKiller my PC shutdown. Interesting development since earlier today. I unplugged my wireless router and connected directly to my ADSL modem. When I did this the Malicious Website Blocked - IP: 146.185.220.85 pop-up disappeared. I could surf the internet without any pop-ups. I then reset my wireless router, reconfigured it and reinstalled it. After reinstallation when I go to a number of different website after a brief pause on the website I get the Malwarebytes website message "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Potentially malicious website blocked protecting you from hackers and cyber criminals. The website I am trying to access are ones that I have used many, many times. I also get a pop-up: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Malicious Website Blocked Domain: security-law-hijzoecj.asia IP: 212.129.47.213 Port: 50273 Type: Outbound Process C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe Currently I have disconnected my wireless router and am connected direct to my ADSL modem. I am getting the Malwarebytes message and pop-up with the direct connection to the ADSL router. Thoughts? Help?
  8. Adam, Thanks for all the time spent this evening and early morning! Take some time to think through the options. I need a little rest before going to work again in a couple of hours. I will attack this challenge again later today.
  9. Adam, Last used computer last Friday. Nothing unusual on Friday. Turned computer on tonight (actually last night now) and I immediately got the pop-up Malicious Website Blocked - no programs open. The only update before this happened was an Adobe Acrobat Reader update sometime last week. I used the computer after that without incident. There are a couple more updates to be installed, but I am holding off until we resolve this issue. Eric
  10. Adam, That was interesting. It started to scan and after a few minutes it said scan failed. I tried to re-scan, but it to failed. Each time it got to 0/53. Thoughts?
  11. Hi Adam, I have run all of the tools and the pop-up window is still there. See attached log files.
