  1. It seems as if Malwarebytes has fixed itself by now, when I turned on my PC today. I started a search again and now it does show the logs again as normal. The field for "Found elements" is empty by now, since I removed them yesterday evening, but it does show the other statistics such as Searchdate or logfile or Database version are filled normally. So everything seems fine. I guess my system was just a bit confused, because I did a lot of updates and some deinstallations yesterday Thanks anyway a lot for your help
  2. Good afternoon, Ladys and Gentlemen! I have a problem with the newest version of Malwarebytes, which I installed just now to keep my PC more safe. I did do an Database-update and then did a search, but after the program has finished, I am not able to view any logfile, rather then exporting it, even though PUP-elements were found on my PC. This does occur both with the Admin-Account and also with my "normal" user account, but did not occur, when I used the "old" version of Malwarebytes. I added a Screenshot, so that you can see, what I mean (it is displayed in my native language, though, but I am sure you can see, what problem i have). I hope anyone of you can help me with this, thanks a lot in advice!
  3. Oh, and please note that English is not my native language, so please excuse any errors in expression or grammar
  4. Good evening to all of you! (it is 9 p.m. in my country right now) I'm new here and registred due to my Malwarebytes-Program detecting 18 elements of "PUP.Optional.Frostwire.TB.A" on my PC some minutes ago. I started a search and just 30 seconds after I started it the program said "18 elements detected". Those are (sort of) everywhere! They are detected as a file in C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/Ask.com/GenericAskToolbar.dll, but also as a lot of "Key" and "Value" at the path "HKLM/SOFTWARE/[...], the [...] following other places like "WOW6432NODE" "CLASSES" etc. The "AskToolbar" is not in my system control panel, and i can not remember to have installed it. Some time ago, my Avira-Antivirus updated itself to the new "Green-Slider-Version" which i deinstalled with the help of the Avira-Community, because it slowed down my PC, so i now have the "old" version of Avira (which I do update every week and run a search, though) Plus, my PC slowed itself down as well. When I bought it about 2 years ago, it took about 45 - 60 second from pressing the power button, over logging in until starting firefox and showing my home website. Now it takes about 90 - 120 seconds... Yesterday, the taskbar even was changed to "white" for a very short time (just a few seconds), as if it was changed back to the "Classical WIndows"-Design. Now, I am very confused about the 18 elements of "Malware", because I do never, never ever visit any illegal websites (if WOT shows me the red circle, i avoid to visit the website). I do not know if i can safely "block" the 18 elements, due to they also seem to point to the Registry and i do not want to break my PC, if has been very expensive back then. Please help me, because I also do online-banking via my PC and i do not want any cybercriminals to get access to my bank account. Thank you very much in advice for your help! =)
