I just visited the Apple website, OS Yosemite is the new operating system.

This may seem like a naïve question, b/c I am not tech savy, but in terms of security, both OS build in [ex. Windows Defender] and 3rd party [ex. Norton & Malwarebytes], which OS system is most secure, Apple [Maverick OS] or Windows 8.1 [update version]?? I am starting to feel like maybe I should switch from a PC to an Apple computer. Does Apple Maverick have built in security like Windows Defender ? If not, what 3rd party anti-virus software is most recommended ? What type of software similar to Malwarebytes is available for Apple computers, for protection against malware ?

Occasionally, I encounter an MBAM warning message on the Lotterypost.com website, that MBAM premium has blocked a malicious website outbound. This is the info in the warning box: IP: 80.82.78.169 Port: 60070 Outbound How do you interpret this information ? Is this my computer's ISP address ? or the Lottery Post ISP address ?? Where do I find my computer's ISP address information on my computer ? What does Port and Outbound Mean ? Does this mean that there is a problem with the Lottery Post website (LP), or a problem with some of the ads on the LP website, or a problem with some other website ? I have only experienced this issue on the Lottery Post website. How do you resolve this problem ? I don't want to "exclude" this website in MBAM, if there really might be an undetermined security threat. I have also been experiencing a problem with Internet Explorer 11. I have MBAE [anti - exploit] premium installed. The warning message states that "IE isn't functioning properly or isn't responding, and is going to shut down." What is the problem with IE ??? How do you resolve this problem. Is this warning about IE coming from MBAE, or from Windows in general ??

What is the "Enable Self Protection" module in MBAM premium ? Do we need to enable it ? What does "Malicious Website Blocked - Outbound" mean ? What does the "Outbound" part mean ?

MBAM malicious website protection is not working on my computer, after I udated to the newest version of MBAM on 10/13/14. Why ? How do I resolve this problem ? Is Chameleon a free download, or do you have to pay for Chameleon ? Will chameleon help to get MBAM functional again ?

Does Anti-Exploit automatically update to the newest version, or do you have to manually update ? How can you tell if anti-exploit is running properly, and what it is actually doing to protect your browsers ? In MBAM there is a quarantine tab, that tells you what malicious software MBAM has located and quarantined on your computer. I only have an anti -exploit desktop icon, which does not give any such tabs or other information about what this software is actually doing to protect my computer. How or where can I get more information about the functionality of this MBAE software ???

How does Malware Anti Exploit update itself ?? Is it automatic or manual ? I received an error box, that Anti Exploit was "not started." But when I clicked on the desktop icon, it indicated "running". Is Anti Exploit working properly, when this happens ?? If not, what is the problem?

Since there is no version for the Mac, can you recommend some other anti-virus software that is similar to Malwarebytes, that will work on the Mac ???

I recently received an E-mail from Malwarebytes News, that the company is running a sale on Malware Anti-Malware Premium & Malware Premium Anti-Exploit Package Deal, 2 for 1, for $39.99. I do not see this package deal sale offered anywhere on the company website. You can only accept this sale deal through the E-mail. Is this a real sale sponsored by the company, or is this fraudulent ?
