  1. The false positive seems to have been corrected after updating on Aug 7. I hadn't gotten any files to you... Do you still need them? I have permission to send them privately- not publicly- but i don't see the option to attach a file to a PM, so I'd either nedd guidance (what am I looking for on the Send PM screen?) or another way to send them. If you don't want a file to verify anything, I'll consider this one closed as it's no longer an issue. Thanks! Chris D
  2. I hope so I have to get permission to post them on a public forum, which I'm working on. It may not be until next week, though. If you have a way to send them to you without a public posting, I can do so immediately. The last two files in the log zipped together are less than 16 KB. (I don't know if you need them both, but the last file's name is a different format, so it may be different "on the inside"... or not, I'm not a developer, so I don't really know.) Thank you. When I have permission (I don't think it wil be denied), I'll post another reply with a ZIP file attached. Chris D
  3. Several of our commercial software products have started having a number of files flagged as infected with "sd.backdoor". Log file is attached as directed. Some of the files are quite old (though all are from current product versions), and are even being flagged when scanning the files directly off the CD's from 6 or 7 years ago. (Current CD's store the files in ZIP files, and the ZIP files containing flagged files are not being flagged themselves.) Since you have a good, free product, many of our users use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, but they are now quarantining these files and breaking our programs (and many of them depend on them for their income). The first reports seemed to start coming in no more than maybe 6 months ago. If you need/want a copy of any logged file, please provide an email address or place to post where it won't be public. I may be able to provide files in a public forum, but it would take time to get permission. Thank you for your attention. Chris D mbam_log_2009_07_30__21_07_34_.txt mbam_log_2009_07_30__21_07_34_.txt
