  1. I should correct my earlier statement where I use 1075 as it is 1.0.75 for the component package and 3.06.1469 for the MBAM version. I agree with you especially concerning the uninstalling and reinstalling; not something anyone likes to do and one of the reasons I may uninstall MBAM at least for a good while. I have a lifetime license so would still keep on eye on if 3.0 develops into a mature product. Right now it does not appear so and that becomes tedious especially where an anti malware program is concerned which end users like to feel good about that it is a rock solid product.
  2. At the suggestion of someone at tenforums I installed 1075 over 1469 installed of using mbclean and with 1075 installed had a BSOD within two minutes of being on the Internet. I've gone back to 1469 and will stay there or give more thought to a different malware program.
  3. I've had 3.0.1469 running fine the last couple of weeks then today uninstalled (using mbclean) and installed the latest (1075) and had bad pool header errrors exactly the same as when I first installed MBAM 3.0 back in December or whenever it was (had a support ticket on that). Reinstalled 1469 and all seems well again. Despite a lifetime license I'm about at the end with this 3.0. I'll skip this latest patch at the least.
  4. I suspect then that a resolution will not be possible since Shadow Defender (SD) is a lite virtualization program that sandboxes the entire C: drive while enabled and then after leaving Shadow mode and thus rebooting any changes made are gone if not committed through SD by the user. However, I never had this problem with 2.0. My last post doesn't make much sense now that the other poster's comment is deleted to make another thread. Should be a way to copy/paste and leave this thread intact so the conversation makes sense especially if there had been more back and forth between those commenting.
  5. As in my last post, it happened again just today so no I've no resolution to the problem. I am trying an experiment where I leave another program disabled to see if it is causing this somehow so it will be several days to see whether it does but if you don't have and use the program Shadow Defender then this possible road to a resolution won't work for you.
  6. I run MBAM 3, Windows Defender, and a program called Shadow Defender. The latter may have an issue that is causing this so I'm trying an experiment right now where I leave Shadow Defender disabled for several days to see if this occurs again. This did occur again today, but keep in mind that this never happened with MBAM 2.2. Question for you, when MBAM has been activated for days why would it need access to your activation server at any later time? Does your software seek the activation server every time the program is opened for example to download updates?
  7. The point being Aura that if we were dealing here with a solid product there'd be no need for legions of us out here to be uninstalling and reinstalling the program. I've been reading reviews of other anti-malware programs and will make a decision soon as to what I'll do. I'm not going to be constantly uninstalling and reinstalling this program.
  8. I've always wondered what the scenario would be for anyone to use the deactivate button to deactivate a lifetime license and now I know but was leary of using it for what should be obvious reasons. Never had this message before but then neither have I ever had MBAM automatically deactivate a license that had been activated either. I'm expecting Support to have an answer on Monday as to why this occurred and a resolution for it since I've reached the end of my patience with this program .
  9. Aura, this morning I contacted support on this issue only to tell them it occurred since I did resolve it by uninstalling/reinstalling. Not that support would be of much help since it is the weekend. On deactivating a license before reinstalling MBAM 3.0, I've never been told about any procedure for deactivating a license, only to uninstall 3.0 using the Windows uninstall programs utility and then reinstall MBAM 3.0. If there is a proper procedure one must do to deactivate the license before reinstalling it what is that procedure? I don't know if I'd do it anyway were this to happen again because I'm pretty tired of the behavior MBAM 3.0 exhibits.
  10. Just FYI, I've had Malwarebytes 3.06.1469 running well for about a week after having problems with various protections in previous 3.0 versions not working for which I've been in contact with support. This morning I'm greeted with MBAM showing I should upgrade or activate my license which had already been done when installed for the who knows number of time. Then I'm greeted with the attached message after typing in the license information. Then I uninstall and reinstall 3.06.1469 and don't need to type in the license information as it is inputted automatically I guess from the Windows registry. If this occurs again I don't think I'll bother reinstalling as a malware program should instill confidence and cannot do that when it exhibits flaky behavior.
  11. Thank you for the response 1PW; however I'm going to have to probably get back to this Monday at the earliest because of Christmas events. Merry Christmas to you and all at Malwarebytes.
  12. Also attached mbamservice log file. MBAMSERVICE.LOG
  13. I've reloaded 3.05 and here are the files I believe are requested. FRST.txt Addition.txt CheckResults.txt
  14. That is what I did but yesterday the allowed files box did not show to warn me of what files are allowed; today it does show for some reason when choose files is clicked. For now I no longer have 3.0 installed so I have no log files to attach. I'll take this problem up with Malwarebytes when I have time.
  15. Or perhaps log file not attached. Since both Drag files and Choose files appear to do nothing, perhaps someone can explain how you attach files on this forum.
  16. I decided to start a new thread since this may be caused for other reasons than other users have. When randomly browsing the Web I will get bad pool header errors quite often such that with 3.05 installed the PC is really not usable for the Web. Run Win 10 64 bit with latest updates. Log file attached.
  17. The last driver released for the card used in this system was in 2012. I have everything working fine again with 2.2 and Anti exploit reinstalled and think I'll check in constantly here to see if they get the problems resolved with 3.0 as it is too buggy right now on my system. Thanks for your suggestions though.
  18. Yes I've seen where some have solved the problem with disabling the web protection but I'm looking for the permanent solution. Until then I've gone back to 2.2 as my system became so unstable as to have the bad spool header every few minutes and pages on the net were taking very long to load. Now I'm trying to find the Anti exploit download to get the system back where it was this morning where protection is concerned.
  19. I just today installed MBAM 3.05 and am now getting bad spool header errors as well. I'd like to know if anything has been found in 1b2b3's case or if the staff is still working on debugging this problem. I've in the past worked with Malwarebytes through a remote diagnostic on my PC and would again if it would help get this resolved in the program. I do like that the programs have now been combined into one.
  20. I went into my Administrator account and ran MBAM from there and it worked. Don't know why it did not from my Standard account the first time since I opened MBAM in that account as Administrator. I've since tried running MBAM from the Standard account as well and it now works. A glitch of some sort but all's well now.
  21. Upon first use of Malwarebytes after installing Windows 10 Pro upgrade the program works until it reaches Scan Memory then stops and says Threat Scan Cancelled. I have the latest MBAM version installed.
  22. I'm going to wait a bit on this as I'll be upgrading to Win 10 next week. I wasn't going to but I'm thinking now that I may do a clean install after the initial upgrade is finished, then I'll reinstall MBAM and we'll see how things go from there to see if the problem still exists. Thanks for your help though.
  23. 1. System time and date are fine. 2. Attached. 3. I was not in the Admin. account when installed. Used the LUA install as Admin. 4. Yes. CheckResults.txt FRST.txt Addition.txt
  24. That solved the problem. Thanks. I should mention too that what I wrote about "so this occurs in Admin" may have been confusing. I meant that this was occurring while in the LUA and after I right-clicked the Malwarebytes icon in the Start menu and then selected "run as admininstrator" so it was not while in the Administrator account proper. Anyway, it appears to be solved if it does not occur again.
  25. Making this thread since it appears we are not to cross thread on this topic. As the title says, MBAM shows this message after clicking on Update Now. I have always right-clicked on the MBAM shortcut and selected to start MBAM as Administrator to run manual updates and scans; so this occurs as Admin..
