Recently received an e-mail titled "regifting susan". I suspected something amiss and erased it, went to scan with Malwarebytes and found a "trojan.fake.alert" in three locations. After required rebooting, I once again scanned and the problem seemed to be resolved. I then went to my bank's websight but was initially unable to access it, and I figured the damage had been done. However, I have since been able to access my account and every thing seemed fine until this morning. Once again I could not access my account and I once again scanned for malware. The "trojan.fake.alert" was back at the same three locations despite the fact that I removed them once. I have removed them again and I am again able to access my accounts. My questions are what is a "trojan.fake.alert", and why does it come back once it is removed?
