Thanks for your reply, shadowwar. If I leave it on my PC will it be a security threat? As long as it's not malware or anything that could compromise my security I think I'll leave it on my PC (for the time being at least) as it seems like Kies relies on it.

Hi, Is MyFreeCodec a FP? Did some searching on MyFreeCodec as I don't recall installing it but it seems to have got installed when I installed Samsung Kies. Thanks MB.zip

Hi, Please see attached log. FYI AddInProcess32.exe has a modified date of 07/11/2007 and vs_setup.cab has a modified date of 27/12/2013. All scans up until today have not flagged these up as Trojans so was wondering if I'm getting FPs. Thanks MBAM-log-2014-03-01 (22-10-08).txt
