Greetings,
It sounds like a false positive. Please post a copy of the report from Malwarebytes showing the detection and we'll be able to help. To do so, open Malwarebytes and click the Detection History card on the main page of the UI, then select the History tab and hover your mouse over one of the entries showing that the file was detected and click on the small icon that looks like an eye, then in the report that pops up click on Export on the lower left and select Copy to clipboard and then paste the info into your next reply or you may export it as a text file and attach it to your reply.
Thanks

I have Malwarebytes premium and all of a sudden it is blocking a dll file, preventing me from running iTunes on my PC GNSDK.DSP.DLL is the file. How can i set Malwarebytes to allow this file and not quarantine it. This file is necessary in order for iTuneS to run. I need iTunes badly. Thank you!

Mb also uses caching so it does not have to scan each "file" every time if there has not been a change. It all equals fast scans.
You are welcome to tend that computer to me and I can send you one of my slow ones.
No thanks, lol but it's hanging up on every scan it never did that before, do i need to create another thread for this?

Fix was finished Saturday afternoon my time.
The databases and scanning speed get optimized all the time.
What processor, how much ram and do you have a SSD?
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core...only 16gigs of ram, yes ssd

Scan again please
192,855 files a minute and 32 seconds it hung up on me twice. Is this version the new and improved or are they not finished with the fix? Repeated the scan and it hung up again, i am not liking this!

Was it a clean install done with the MB clean tool?
i don't think so, it installed the new version in an existing folder if i am not mistaken. I just followed the instructions for using the MB-Clean tool

If your computer has the horsepower it can go that fast.
ok but the previous version that i had before today took 6 minutes or so, why the difference?

I just installed Malwarebytes 3 with the updated package version 1.0.3816 and it completes a scan of 350,000 files or so in under 90 seconds, is this working properly? Thanks in advance to whom contributes.

My scan was super fast as well maybe it’s the new Malwarebytes but you should start your own thread to be sure, I would be curious to know as well!
-
I finally was able to launch Firefox ran MB-Clean, reinstalled the update package version and all is well. Let’s hope this does not happen again. Porthos thanks much!

That would not be possible because as I stated earlier I cannot open Malwarebytes I get an error message "unable to start" and "unable to connect the service" does anyone have any suggestions?
-
I need help I think my PC is infected. Malwarebytes is not working properly.
When I try to open it I get an error message saying cannot connect. I also get a notification saying real-time protection is turned off.
My PC is sluggish and hangs up with almost any task. Please assist I will be extremely grateful!

Thanks i downloaded beta #2 i started the cleaning process it asked me to reboot, and i felt good about things, even the log after restart said files were removed and deleted, but when i run the program again the threats reappear!
-
thank you very much, i have threats that Malwarebytes Premium does not find, but AdwCleaner does and they need to be removed!
-
i'll wait till the experts wake up, thanks
-
is everyone having this issue or just you and i?
-
AdwCleaner 7.0.1.0 freezes on cleaning process can anyone help log attached
-
Thanks again for your help!
-
It was the first time i ran it where it indicated 55 threats, i rebooted then ran it two more times (I know i didn't fully follow your instructions) ...i went to the log manager of AdwCleaner and sent everything from the "scan" and "cleaning" tabs, that's all that was there. Anyway all seems good now Yoan, thank you very much for your time, patience, and assistance :-)

the AdwCleaner found 55 threats you want to rap this up?
Won't let me run iTunes

An alleged threat, but is in fact not a threat, but rather a file necessary for the proper function of iTunes that was quarantined by Malwarebytes.
