  1. Problem solved - Malwarebytes Corporate edition should not be installed on a server. I received this info from the Sales Manager at Malwarebytes. I also got the same reply from tech support at Eset and Sonicwall. I now have licenses for MBAM Corporate edition for all of our computers in our office. Seeing as how the hacker seems to have gotten in through one (or more) of our workstations, we felt it was best to protect them all and not get hit again.
  2. Firefox, Thanks for the quick reply. I put the Home/retail or whatever they call the non-business version on it. We originally had the free version on it to clean up some Hacker crap. After a 2.5 hour remote session with a Microsoft engineer, no more Hacker crap and our server was out of his/her/its control and back in ours. To prevent any more problems, I bought 2 licenses for the home/retail version to activate the free version the Microsoft engineer had installed. Now we have the problem mentioned in my original post. I just got a call from the Microsoft engineer and he suggested uninstalling the Eset NOD32 antivirus and SuperAntiSpyware because it could be causing the problem. I did so and am waiting for the rest of the people here to leave so I can reboot the server. I have contacted the corporate people and will see what they say about my situation. Again, thanks for your reply.
  3. I installed a legitimate copy of Malwarebytes Pro on a Windows 2003 Small Business Server this morning. It updated and ran as it was supposed to. This afternoon, all computers on our network are having problems trying to access the server. We lost connection to the server, or programs won't open or they will freeze. We are also running Eset NOD32 Antivirus (not Smart Security) version 4, so I don't know if that may be affecting things. Has anyone used Malwarebytes Pro on a server before? Is there a problem using it on a server? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
