  1. Hey everybody.. I'm going to have to be very specific on this.. first of all, i'm working on two computers. only one of which is connected to the internet. i've been having problems with conficker for a hot little minute but after numerous reinstalling and cleaning processes i've finally realized that i had to clean all of my usb sticks mp3 players etc. since they were actually all infected and that was how this beast always got back onto my system. now thanks to malwarebytes i managed to fully clean my internet computer including usb sticks, mp3 player and all external hard drives. i also downloaded the newest version of malwarebytes setup plus i copied the "rules.ref" with the newest updates so i could run a fully updated version on my pc that's not connected to the internet. i have to mention that i'm using that second pc for making music and besides some third external harddrive i have a numark hdx cd turntable with an internal 80GB hard drive connected to it. just as i thought that turntable was/ is infected as well.. also there is an infected cf card which i use to swap sounds between my pc and my akai mpc.. now i've managed to clean the computer and the external hard drive but for some reason that cf card and the numark hdx always show up as infected everytime i run malwarebytes even if i select to remove the infected files and i get the message from malwarebytes that they had been successfully removed.. after the reboot they're still infected by conficker. this is driving me nuts, especially because i was able to remove the worm from all other units connected to the same machine. i've repeatedly tried to do the whole thing again and everytime those two units show up as infected while everything else seems to be clean. if anybody could help..i'd be very grateful for any kind of advice many thanks in advance, DL
