  1. I'm really sorry to do this, I really don't mean to bump up this thread and I don't know how to edit posts, or maybe I just over looked where it is, but for whatever reason my PC can't connect to malwarebytes.org, I made my self a bookmark to the Hijackthis logs section of the forums, can't get there, can't get to the regular website, was working fine last night, not so much when I booted up and tried today, and I'm on a laptop right now, so nothings wrong with the internet. Again, really don't want it to look like I'm bumping up a thread, but there is something very messed up on my PC.
  2. I forgot my malwarebytes log, sorry. 3. Hi, I have no idea what happened, I'm just getting rid of unused files then all of a sudden I got a pop-up saying "my computer is heavily infected use (can't remember the name of the software to remove infections bla bla bla" I clicked the X to get rid of the pop up and then a fake window trying to look like a program pops up, I close it ASAP and then nothing on my computer works properly at all. I booted into safe mode with network to update Malwarebytes but I kept getting an error saying "Update failed. Make sure you are connected to the internet and your firewall is set to allow Malwarebytes's Anti-Malware to access the internet". Obviously I have internet working and I don't think I even have a firewall set up except through my router. I can update malwarebytes easily on my laptop, so it's not my routers problem. Even though it wouldn't update, I still ran malwarebytes and let it remove a bunch of things, I restarted to normal boot mode and ran AVG (for some reason AVG crashed when I tried to run it in safe mode), it took off a bunch more things, I re-ran Malwarebytes and it removed a few more things, but I'm still not sure if my PC is clean and I'm too worried to log into anything important, oh and I still can't update Malwarebytes for some reason. Can you please help me?
