About a week and a half ago, I started having problems. I have a Dell Latitude D820 running Windows XP Home SP2. When running Outlook 2007, I would get the "Win32 Generic Host Process Error", and then Outlook would shut down and restart. Also, when searching in Google using Firefox 3 and IE7, I would click on a search result and get redirected to various and seemingly random sites about cow surveys and insurance. If I clicked back and then forward a page, I would arrive at the intended search result. Also, under the "recent pages" dropdown in FF3, I would see "redirect" noted as one of the pages. So, that was when I ran a full system scan using Norton AntiVirus. Nothing was found. So I uninstalled Norton in case it was infected. Then I ran a full system scan using a trial version of Kaspersky AntiVirus, and it found nothing. Then I tried running a full system scan using the trial version of Malwarebytes, and it found nothing. I've run all of these scans several times (in and out of safe mode) with no results. All seemed to have no problem with receiving updates. I've come back to Malwarebytes to post my problem in the forum because I see the name referred to constantly in other forums as being respected and trusted. I've attached my malwarebytes log.
