  1. My god it worked thanks a lot who would have thought those brackets could do so much damage, and I didn't even have to reboot, thanks again, should I change the title of the thread and marked as solved?
  2. I did as I was instructed, did a disk check, rebuilt the search index, ran mbam clean, reinstalled mbam with avast disabled, updated mbam aaaaand the problem wasn't solved, a full scan took 5 seconds...
  3. Thanks for the quick reply here are the logs you requested, the mbam log is in spanish though... mbam-log-2012-09-01 (16-50-42).txt DDS.txt Attach.txt
  4. Recently I noticed a problem with my free copy of Mbam, it takes less than 10 seconds to do either a full or quick scan on my machine, it only scans around 1200 files and that's it, it usually scans around 220000 files, but I noticed that if I uncheck the "scan startup objects" box the quick scan takes the usual 2-3 minutes and if I uncheck everything but the startup objects the number of files scanned is 0, this has never happened to me before, tried reinstalling and nothing, tried using an unistaller called mbam-clean-1.60.2.0003 then reinstalled and same results, I use avast as a realtime scaner but I disabled it to test if that was the cause of this problem, I disabled windows defender too, my pc specs are: Cpu: phenom II x4 965 Ram: 8gb adata at 1333mhz Primary HDD: 128gb Western digital at 7200rpm Secondary HDD: 1.5tb Seagate at 7200rpm OS: Windows 7 sp1 64bit I hope this doesn't inconvenience you, and sorry if my english sucks, greetings from Mexico and thanks in advance.
