  1. Thanks. I did that and checked to make sure the "Start Protection Module with Windows" is on or checked. So far so good. How come when I first installed my MBAM Pro version, the GUI never auto open up during start up instead all I see is the tray icon. But now as soon as window starts, the MBAM GUI opens up and I have to click exit to close it and then the tray icon is not there anymore. But then when I checked the services it seems to be running. I think this is the reason I unchecked that option before because I don't want it to open but instead just silently work in the background.
  2. Thanks. I see an EOD "Crab" on your profile. I used to be with EODMU-11 when they were still at Whidbey Island.
  3. I'm using the Pro version of MBAM ver. 1.60.1.1000. But everytime I start my computer and log in as a regular user (non-admin) MBAM will start up with its GUI with Enable protection module unchecked. If I try to check it, it gives the error above. If I log in as an Admin, it will allow me to enable the protection module but then if I go back and log in as a regular user the Enable protection module box is still unchecked and cannot be enabled. It just keeps giving me the same error as above. I ran the quick scan but found not malicious infections. This program seems to have been designed very well for malware detections but it seems that although it can detect malwares very well, it's unable to defend itself when attacked.
