  1. Hi all in the forum, I've now seen this problem on several different machines, so I'm being led to the conclusion it is a bug. In brief even though a particular configuration change or a file has been added to the "Ignore List" of MalwareBytes, and you even select the "ignore List" tab and check the content, MalwareBytes CONTINUES to flag the item in subsequent scans of the system as possibly a problem. This doesn't cause me any difficulty, I know enough about what is being said to realise that the items are NOT something to worry about and simply ignore the warning and don't get MalwareBytes to change anything on the system, but a "general user" must find this VERY confusing. Only things I can find in common about the problem are: All machines I have seen do this are Win XP 32 bit The problem only started happening since the update to MalwareBytes V1.60.0.1800 To test if this problem was an artifact of an update "gone wrong", I did some tests on one machine. Basically I followed the standard practice for MalwareBytes problems - ie: TOTALLY remove the package using the removal tool, reboot the machine, re-install MalwareBytes making sure the install was done using administrator credetials. Result: NO CHANGE, still does exactly the same thing. Is anyone else having the same problem ? Calvin.
