  1. Actually I stand corrected. I thought it modified the host file so wouldn't it protect all browsers? In any case I already had Chrome hijacked by Whitesmoke and some toolbar. I'm using Firefox right now and personally find it better than Chrome.
  2. Thought it's interesting to note that Avast recommends you leave the Windows firewall on.
  3. Isn't that the job of an antivirus? Most AV scans for spyware so it would seem better to have a spyware system that only focuses on prevention, no?
  4. Is Spywareblaster a suitable replacement for Malwarebytes pro? It has less overhead.
  5. I just got a new system with Windows 7 on it. What security software should I install on it? I'll be behind a router most of the time and I use Outlook for e-mail.
