Hello! I've got a Windows XP Pro SP3 that will boot normal but only load the background. No taskbar, desktop icons, nothing. Mouse pointer is there and responds accordingly. Keyboard does not work. I found numerous suggestions to do a repair install of Windows XP. I did, and it didn't appear to do anything. Cannot boot into "Safe Mode with Networking" now because Windows needs to be activated. "Safe Mode" operates normally, which is where I am working from at this point. I've run ComboFix. I've run MalwareBytes AntiMalware and fixed (deleted) a few unfamiliar things though was cautious because I didnt want to delete anything important to the system. I attempted Registry edits correctly and nothing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. attach.txt dds.txt
