I realize I may be repeating a topic already mentioned. I was unable to install your setup program or run the MBAM file on the infected pc, until I followed the advice given at Yahoo Questions to copy the file from a USB drive to the infected PC and renaming the files. The malware on my machine prevented the programs from running but I got around that by randomly renaming the setup program... successful install, then renaming MBAM to something else. After doing this, bingo, mbam ran and successfully removed ROOTKIT, Trojan.Agent and Trojan.Vundo. I spent 8 hours trying to figure out why the software wouldn't install, etc... so perhaps MalwareBytes could let new purchasers know to manually rename the executable after copying to the infected machine. It's also useless to try and download from the internet to the infected PC. I'm a happy camper now with this software installed!
