Vundo & Disable.SecurityCenter

Recommended Posts

I too am having trouble ridding my PC (Dell Latittude D830, Windows XP) of these pests. I have started the PC in safe mode, run MBAM in full scan, deleted both Vendors. Re-ran the full scan which then only found the Disable.SecurityCenter. According to other posts, I should be able ignore this file. Ran Avast boot-scan, then Avast full scan. Logged back into my profile. Ran MBAM in full scan again, ignored the Disable.SecurityCenter. Opened up a browser window and pop-ups started opening almost instantly.

Help!! I have now wasted three days with this problem.
