Information Managment on the Dark Web - is "Incogni" useful & safe?

The title pretty much says it all, having been a Malwarebytes user from almost the beginning, and I feel fairly well protected against system infections. However, with the proliferation of identifying information being stolen and made available to unauthorized users, I've been considering a subscription to Incogni. I'd like to hear / read other users' experience with the tool; does it work, is it worth it, how thoroughly did it protect you, or did it work at all the way you expected.
