  1. Go ahead and allow Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to remove those items.

    :) OK. done. thanks. :)

:D but anyway what were they and how do I get information about these things the next time?

Like: a friend of mine has Spybot in her computer and it gives her some info about the things it finds. and windows defender and avast give you a direct link to see what you're up against. it's always good to know because later you can recognize some problems..

:( if not I guess I'll keep posting these kind of messages in forums everytime I scan my computer..just keep bothering people.. ehehe B)

  2. Hi :) ,

I'm a newbie with this software, once I made the fisrt scan I didn't know what to do. Here is the info it gave me:

    mbam-log-2009-02-04 (02-53-31).txt

    Scan type: Quick Scan

    Objects scanned: 57005

    Time elapsed: 3 minute(s), 51 second(s)

    Memory Processes Infected: 0

    Memory Modules Infected: 0

    Registry Keys Infected: 0

    Registry Values Infected: 1

    Registry Data Items Infected: 1

    Folders Infected: 0

    Files Infected: 0

    Memory Processes Infected:

    (No malicious items detected)

    Memory Modules Infected:

    (No malicious items detected)

    Registry Keys Infected:

    (No malicious items detected)

    Registry Values Infected:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OLE\Windows Update (Backdoor.Bot) -> Not selected for removal.

    Registry Data Items Infected:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL\CheckedValue (Hijack.System.Hidden) -> Bad: (0) Good: (1) -> Not selected for removal.

    Folders Infected:

    (No malicious items detected)

    Files Infected:

    (No malicious items detected)

and now I don't know what to do. I'm affraid I might erase something important or something that's ok... I didn't select it for removal, in fact I did nothing except a print screen so I could post this and then I found log B)

so... what do I do now? :D
