Hello.. for being professional and patience,I would like to ask you a question as it's take me forever to solve. My system restore does not work as I went to computer>>>manager and system restore service it's said that "The System Restore Service on local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service." The reason why I want the system restore to work is that my internet caught virus and I want to turn back the date before but I cannot turn to previous date and month on system restore. Please help me why? I had try your above instructions but since the internet does not work I create a folder on the other computer that internet is available and switch it back to my computer with memory stick and reboot the computer .But it's still does not work. Please help to solve. Thanks!

  2. Hello again tholland. I'm glad System Restore is working for you again. I believe your other issues may be related to the wbem folder. Please have a look at this article from Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=319114 Post back here and let me know how it goes, thanks.
