  1. Hello

I wanted to report that Malwarebytes found two entries

when doing a quick scan on my computer.

Both were named: PUM.Hijack.Run (registry data)

I did not quarantine them, but removed them. Luckily it allowed

me to restart my computer and I though my computer would return

to its original state. It did not.

What happened to my computer before I noticed this malicious

    problem?

I am no longer able to turn off my computer and only the log

off button is available in Start. When I right click on Start

I get the dreaded 'this operation has been canceled due to

restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your

    system administrator'.

I am not sure who is the system administrator as I thought I

was. It is a personal computer and used at home.

Any suggestions for me. I am unable to create a restore point

and I am unable to bring up Run. That is not the case. I did another

scan and nothing malicious was found on my computer.

How did I think I got this problem?

I downloaded the free key that was offered by Meegaleecher.net for the program System Tweaker 2011.

When I used it I changed a box to within the program to default settings and my problems began there

or might have started just because I downloaded this program.

I am at a total loss as to how to turn off my computer without using the power button.

I am also afraid to try to log off the computer.

Any advice would be helpful as this is the first time I have ever asked for any help. I

have bookmarked this site and will check in periodically ... I am truly flustered.

    Thanks!

    John
