The log file from the Malwarebytes Setup App
-
But online setup give me 4.5.24.248
Another offline setup give me 4.5.27.262.

No. The application downgrade by the setup.
-
The problem is the online setup file itself causing the Malwarebyes to downgrade.
-
-
It suppose the Malwarebytes updater is broken. It looks like it does not want to upgrade to 4.5.27.

I have found patch my pc to be an issue with updating Malwarebytes from time to time.
What setup are you using?
That one is not. Because offline installer does not downgraded the app.
-
It look like I run is the online installer on winget. The winget link uses https://data-cdn.mbamupdates.com/web/mb4-setup-consumer/MBSetup.exe which is the same link on the official website.
-
But why the Malwarebytes setup downgrading the Malwarebytes App?
-
Sometimes. I also use winget. Winget always check for updates. But sometimes I always use the winget-pkgs on github

Previously it from a higher versions 4.5.27 to 4.5.24.248
-
It look like the setup downgraded the application. I don't know why the setup downgraded the application.
-
It look like what is happening after upgrading to 4.5.27.262? What other user reported after the upgrade?
-
Oops! I also unable to run that tools.
-
No. That one is not the topic.

I am searching for Malwarebytes Portable Download? The installation failed because MbamSetup need admin to run. But I cannot access to admin accounts because of the password.

Right now, Virtual Box is causing issues again.

It look like it cause my winget manifest to revert the change. Also, it might be a malware disturbing the Malwarebytes online setup file..
