That setting can cause all kinda of assorted issues and that is why it is off by default.
We would be answering a lot less topics if users would not change defaults.
The defaults are a carefully researched balance of protection and computer usability.
Glad you are good now.
Makes sense. Thank you for the help!

And with that setting off, you still have the issue?
I am no longer having the issue with the setting off, so it did fix the issue. I just not sure why it was working before but isn't now.

So to confirm, you reset defaults in the correct section like in my screenshot?
Yes, that was when I figured out it was the "Block penetration testing" setting that was messing ssh up

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately this did not seem to fix the issue. Nothing seems to have changed in the report either.
Turns out Block penetration testing attacks seemed to be the issue. Not sure why it was working before and now it isnt though.

Hello,
When I want to ssh into my local server Malwarebytes blocks that connection. It never use to do that. I added a registry into regedit called EnableLinkedConnections and afterwards started getting the connection blocked. Afterwards I removed it and still had the same issue. I use Malwarebytes on windows 11 home edition. The location in the regedit was HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies/System

I'm not sure, where would I find those logs at?
