Hi, I already the FRST fix and it’s already generated a fixlog.txt file. However, I can’t seem to connect to the internet anymore even when our Wi Fi seems to be working on other devices. Do i need to reconfigure or reinstall something?

I'd just like to note that after restarting the PC, the msconfig and regedit functions have come back to normal and my anti-virus which also used to encounter the same problem have started working again

Please disregard previous message. Restarting the PC did the trick and I was able to do an FRST scan. I also noticed an interesting message that popped out after I did the MBAM scan and restart:

Hi, I'm also having trouble opening FRST.exe. The window just closes immediately after opening the .exe file. Can i rename it temporarily to something else so I can just open it?

Hi, I can't seem to open adwcleaner. When i run as administrator it opens a cmd prompt window but the application doesn't appear.

I recently plugged in a possibly infected pendrive into my computer and now my pendrive and other pendrives I plug in seem to have been infected with a so called Drive.BAT file that hides the files inside the pendrive into a different folder (although I can still open those files if I just show hidden items). I've done a Malwarebytes scan already on the said pendrive but it doesn't detect any threats. I've also done a scan on my computer and it has deleted some threats, but still the drive.BAT issue persists. Curiously, everytime I try to open msconfig or regedit, the window just opens and closes immediately.
I would really appreciate your help in this. Thanks
