We need the following from all with this issue.

Can you please collect and upload as an attachment the diagnostic data using our MBST?

    • Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
    • Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
    • Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply

Hi Porthos, as suggested in your earlier post, I used the Support tool to uninstall and reinstall (which didn't require a Windows restart btw), and it seems to have fixed the memory leaking issue.

Not sure if there's anything useful in these logs still since I uninstalled/reinstalled, but here they are:

Am wondering whether this is my problem.

Everytime I try to fire up Google Chrome the start-up page just disappears?

Do you have an internet connection? Check in Control Panel if you're unsure.

If I try to use the ethernet port built into my motherboard (which worked fine until MWB updated to the malformed update this morning) there is no connection and i can see on my router that there is no connection, yet when I use the same exact cable with my ps4 and the ethernet card I just installed to remedy this, it works fine.

  3. This "malformed update" managed to break part of my motherboard.

The built in Ethernet port doesn't work anymore, even with MWB completely uninstalled.

Luckily we had a PCI Ethernet Card laying around that I'm now using to connect to the internet again.

My PC worked fine the first 20 Minutes I booted it up this morning and then I lost Internet connection and received a windows error that I was low on Memory because MBAM service was using 7 gigs of RAM.

This malformed update managed to affect my computer on a hardware level. I tried checking the settings in the bios and even flashing the bios. The ethernet port on my motherboard has been rendered useless.
