  1. Really? Because that is the VPN extension that i have installed. Looks like you're on to something here, i believe it now that my VPN extension was mentioned (HotSpot)
  2. I almost forgot, here are the related files. Also in response to the commentators above: I hope this isn't the beginning of a of a larger attack. Also this is the first time in 3 years of using Malware AntiBytes that it ran into a problem that it can fix. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  3. Hello! Just want to say that I am a big fan of MalwareAntiBytes. It is incredibly effective at protecting my computer, however there an issue has occurred that it cannot fix. Approximately an hour ago, I launched chrome. However instead of just the normal blank tab, a pop-up of MalwareBytes blocking an outbound website occurred, and has occurred every time I open a new tab, every time a new webpage is loaded, and when chrome hasn't even connected to the internet yet. the name of the domain is "buywork.men" 104.18.36/37.14 (the numbers in bold alternate in the IP among the numerous pop-ups) After trying multiple Threat,Custom, and Hyper scans, including custom file location scans and scanning with Windows Defender offline mode, nothing has changed. MalwareBytes is blocking the website every time in a pop-up, except it cannot find the source of the problem on my computer, let alone quarantine and subsequently kill it. What makes this more concerning for me, is the fact that less than an hour prior of the incident, I was working on my FSA and other student loan websites. This means that I was entering very sensitive and personal information, such as my SSN. Occasionally, not every time, i would somehow be redirected to the link https://chrome-updates.win/s.html which is also concerning and confusing. I would very much appreciate any help in resolving this issue. Thank you for your time.
