[self-protection for free users? please?]

I understand devs hard work, but why this is a premium feature? I want to make sure my free version work correctly without malware broke it

I did a clean install of Malwarebytes, installed 3.0.4 directly from this website, I have free edition- decided to scan my computer with recommended scan option...but holy hell right after it started to scan I got %95-%99 CPU usage and my processor fans gone crazy. This kind behavior never happened to me on Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Windows 7 64bit, i7 4790k CPU, 16GB RAM, Norton Internet Security

and yes I added entire Norton folder as exclude in MBAM settings, also added entire MBAM folder as exclude in Norton

I'm not sure what is wrong with it, I tried many scans with different mbam settings (like enable/disable scanning archives etc) none of them worked

I need help
