Malwarebytes 3.x Webprotection failure to start is STILL broken A/O 29 Jan 18.
My system Win10
Malwarebytes version: 3.3.1.2183
Component package version: 1.0.0
Update package version: 1.0.3814I have read most of the posts on this forum relating to this CONTINUOUSLY REOCCURRING problem since Saturday, 27 Jan 18. None of these alleged "fixes" have worked. Do you folks not do regression testing?
I can no longer recommend Malwarebytes to my friends and colleagues. Most of these people lack the computer skills to deal with the CONTINUING errors pushed out by Malwarebytes.
This is a very sad situation. Malwarebytes 2.x was an excellent application. It was stable, and high quality. This 3.x version has been pure junk from it's first release.
Since Malwarebytes does not seem to be able to resolve the problems with this version, I have turned off the start at login option, and will not renew my licenses.
SeeYa!

Me Too Post!
I'm seeing the same thing here. Adding "outlook.office365.com" to exclusions got my email working again. You may be able to get clients working again by adding "office365.com" to exclusions.

You keep telling folks to provide more info to fix this problem. It seems to me that this RECURRING problem should have been fixed by now. I am not the only person with this problem. It has been here ever since the 3.x version has been released, and you do not seem to care enough about your PAYING CUSTOMERS to attempt to fix the problem. You just stall around asking for more info, letting your customers do your job for you.
Fix your dadburned software.

Advanced Setup...
I am having the SAME PROBLEM! My Computer is performing perfectly!
YOUR SOFTWARE IS BLOWN UP!
I uninstalled 3.0.6.1469 and went back to 2x version.
I have no interest in debugging your software. You need to make sure that it works before you publish the software and start making snarky remarks to folks that YOUR Software is giving grief to.

Hmmmm... For some reason my log file did make the trip.
Try again.

I have the same problem. Malwarebytes thinks PDF X-Change Viewer and Editor are infected. Kaspesky Internet Security 2016 thinks they are just fine.
I have attached my log file.

Downloaded and installed mb3-setup-consumer-3.3.1.2183-1.0.262-1.0.3806.exe.
The Component package version is exactly what is reported by Malwarebytes.
