Not supported. Well that's not good as I know many in the school I teach at (I'm a tutor for Special ED students) who still use Vista, not to mention the school has several lend out laptops running Vista x64 SP2 Business.

Hey I'm over viewing the guidelines and when it says, "injecting a comment into a thread for the purpose of placing a link back to a website offering the same services offered here; or services totally unrelated to this website," I'm unable to quickly guide you guys to right information which would further help solving any issue I have or others have? Not to mention extending out a giving hand with other forum communities/businesses. So if I made a mistake hyper-linking our forums here, please feel free to edit it.

Yes in the "Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta" area, which I successfully achieved when changing my UA in Pale Moon.

I also want to mention that I'm not the lead developer (Moonchild, as well as Matt A. Tobin) of this project, but just an active member of their forums. So if you need further corporation with us, I'm sure our friendly community will be able to help out as best to their abilities.
-P.S. I did save errors/warnings I got from the browser console, but I'm unable to find them now. Well I'm sure I can get the same results again once I remove my UA override. Just let me know and I'll provide it, ok.

Hello there, I just want to say firstly that I love MBAM and all the developers here who give great customer service!
Now down to business, ok. Today while I browse this forum with my favorite browser called Pale Moon (an Open Source, Goanna-based web browser forked-off from the Firefox/Mozilla source code, focusing on efficiency and ease of use), I ran into an issue where I can't seem to post and create a new thread, yes that's right. Here are my screenshots:
So after doing some troubleshooting, I found that this forum does some strict UA detection, such as looking for the Firefox slice in ones browser, particularly the version of Gecko. Unfortunately I had to put in an override for you guys in about:config: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:26.0) Goanna/20160222 PaleMoon/26.1.1. This is just one out of so many I could've picked that works, as long as it has an updated Gecko version or the Firefox slice in the UA. Yeah this isn't a rendering issue cause by the browser per se, or because the browser (Pale Moon) is unable to render this forum or the specific functions of it, but rather by this forum presenting different Web designing code to our browser because of what it thinks it is. But I could be wrong as I took an educated guess knowing this:

To do this, you would just need to look for the Pale Moon slice and the version of Goanna, which is v2.0. No this isn't outdated as we are fork and so rebooting the version number of the engine (found in Pale Moon v26+) to something more manageable and clear than a direct product-tied version of Firefox (Pale Moon isn't affiliated with or subject to either code releases or publication plans of Firefox/Mozilla Corperation), and will be updated as the engine is updated.

Well I don't know if this could be connected, but after several restarts (I do a lot of beta testing and thorough troubleshooting on my PC) MBARW protection turns off, so this would also be good to look into while you guys are at it.

yeah, hey I'm sorry that I misunderstood also
I actually decided to stick with MBAM v1.75 because It has not failed me yet and I like the GUI!
-PS: I have done my own troubleshooting and it turns out my laptop can't handle a lot. But with a little tinkering and some new software replacements, the new MBAM v2.0.2 has successfully ran without any problems!

Hey you guys, could you please stop the fighting and help out your fellow customer!
So... I believe it's a little of both, meaning my laptop is old and slow at times, but I also think It's developers/admins job to provide the best product for all sorts of users/situations and etc, etc, etc.
But never mind that, I umm.... actually I have adjusted my laptop for best performance, so now it should run smoothly with new MBAM, hopefully. And I guess I will go ahead with the troubleshoot and follow your guys advise.
-PS: I do not feel that I'm getting the best customer care here, and I especially don't like being accused of Inappropriate actions/replies.

Ok yes.
In MBAM v2, I'm having problems with it not updating correctly and when I do a scan, it constantly freezes on me. But I believe it's my pc fault because it's about 7 yrs old and gets over heated really easy. Although none of this occurred v1.75, so maybe my pc can't handle the new MBAM?
Can you guys make it more compatible with old pc? Well, until then I'll go back to v1.75

Hey there, I'm new.... so I was wondering if there is any possible way to install MBAM v1.75 instead of v2.0.2 and still keep the database updated? I just don't like the new UI and the way it's recently impact my old laptop, witch has a base score of 2.2.
