Hello all!

You could take the PC with you, just stock up on software, music and movies because the interweb wouldn't exist.
*LOL*

dll32.dll seems to be historically connected to Nortel VPN Connectivity Client. Also Toshiba Utilities in Windows 95. Several suspicious web sites are offering downloads of dll32.dll:
hxxp://www.dll-files-download.com/D/2008-01-13/4161.html
hxxp://www.dll4you.com/download/get.php?file=dll32.dll&site=4&ver=N/A&com=N/A&des=N/A

Malwarebytes detected a possible trojan.
Backdoor.Bot.Q windows\dll32.dll 90821
I was having trouble booting the puter before the scan. The 96KB file is in Quarantine. The puter seemed to run OK but then the same symptoms appeared again. It took me almost a full day before I could boot and run the puter long enough to do another scan. Several times the puter seemed to crash when the scan got to the Windows directory. After completing the second scan a dll32.dll file was again quarantined. Since then the puter has been running today. (I have not risked re-booting.
I'm sorry the latest database version is not installed. I was hesitant to run another full scan for fear of a crash. A quick scan did not appear to detect dll32.dll.

OK, then.
Many thanks for your help!
I'm not sure it's a false positive. My dll32.dll file is 96K quarantined. And it keeps coming back. It may be similar to the dll32.exe backdoor in 2002. IMHO
