  1. Hello, I wasn't exactly sure where to post this so I'm posting it in this section. Please move it if this is the wrong section for this type of question.

I have written an article about How to Report Dangerous Sites. It can be found on this page:

    http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/how-report-dangerous-websites.htm

I am trying to make sure that I have assigned these services to the correct categories. Thus, I would like to get some more information.

What type of dangerous sites can be reported to Malwarebytes and what is done with those reported sites? Does Malwarebytes accept malicious sites, phishing sites, sites promoting hate, etc...? What type of sites can be reported?

    Thank you.

  2. Here is my contact list for many vendors, you'll have to verify these are still correct and update it though.

sorry seems my contact list is too out of date to be reliable.

I'll get in contact with you when its updated

Thank you. I would really appreciate any information you could provide.

It's mentioned in my article, but I'll say it here as well. This is an article which is written by me, but fueled by the community. Thus your opinions and advice are not only much appreciated, but actually necessary in order for this article to grow and improve. You're certainly exemplifying that spirit.

    Thank you.

  3. Hello, I've written an article that explains How to Report Malware or False Positives to Multiple Antivirus Vendors.

I apologize if this is in the wrong section of the forum. Please feel free to move it if you wish.

It is meant to be a comprehensive list of all reputable vendors who produce products that rely on signature detection, in some way, in order to detect all manner of malware. What I have done is investigate how to submit malware, and false positives to all of them. I have then taken this information and created a mailing list that allows you, with a few clicks, to submit malware to the majority of all of the anti-malware vendors in the world. At least that is the idea. You can also submit the malware to the reset of them manually, but the idea is to make it as easy as possible to submit it to as many as possible with as little work as possible.

Please use this article to submit any malware you find to as many vendors as possible so we can help to make the online world a safer place. Also, for anyone who is able, and willing, to help I could use your help to improve this list. Please provide me with whatever feedback you have about the article and help me to make the information provided as accurate, and poignant, as possible. It would be most effective to leave the feedback in the comments section of the article so I have all of the feedback in one place. This will help me to best utilize it to improve the article.

    Thank you.

  4. Hello, I got a comment on my article here:

    https://www.techsupportalert.com/content/how-clean-infected-computer.htm

which said that Malwarebytes used temp files in its analysis of an infected computer and would therefore be less effective if I used CCleaner to clean the temp files before cleaning an infected computer, as I had been recommending in my article. However, they couldn't point me to where they had found this information.

I was wondering if this is true and, if it is, then why would this make a difference?

    Thanks.
