Defrag Hard Drive from .bat file

I am trying to speed up hubbys computer and have gone through all the processes mentioned in the 'stickied' post. However, when I get to this bit:

Defragment your Hard Drive:

Please copy and paste the following text in the Code box exactly as written into notepad (not wordpad or any other text editor):

defrag "%systemdrive%"

del /f /q %0

Once you've done that click on File and select Save As...

In the Save dialogue box click on the drop down menu next to Save as type and select All Files

Name the file defrag.bat (the .bat extension is very important)

Save the file to your desktop and double click it to run it if running Windows XP. If running Windows Vista or Windows 7 you must right-click on the file and choose Run as administrator

All that happens is the black dos box just keeps flickering with the message :

c:\documents and settings \ hubbys name\destop >defrag"C:"

but doesn't actually seem to be doing anything!!

What operating system are you running?

In most cases a graphical version of the Windows defragmentation tool can be found under All Program - Accessories - System Tools.
